Build the privacy-first connected-road data layer with us
Traffica is a production-ready platform for connected-road data. We work with agencies that run roadside units, insurers and fleets, technology partners, and investors.
Partner programs
Three ways to build with Traffica
Data partners
Cities, DOTs and corridor operators with roadside units
Connect your roadside units and get speeds, hot spots and signal performance for your network, under agreements you control.
- You own your data and set purposes, resale and region
- Signal data health for every connected intersection
Insurers & fleets
Organizations building on consented driving data
Deploy Traffica on consented phone and telematics data, with our engineers alongside your team.
- Direct input into the roadmap
- Invitations, trips, usage and scores from day one
Technology partners
Automaker data platforms, telematics providers, device makers, RSU vendors
Integrate through standard interfaces: SAE J2735 for V2X, COVESA VSS for signals, ISO 20078 for automaker data.
- One adapter reaches every Traffica customer segment
- Consent and privacy handled by the platform
For investors
Why connected-road data, and why now
Vehicle data is valuable to cities, insurers and fleets alike, but it has been hard to collect at scale and harder to use responsibly. Three shifts change that.
The roadside is being rebuilt
The FCC’s move of the 5.9 GHz band from DSRC to C-V2X means a wave of roadside unit replacement, and every new unit is a potential data source.
Trust is now a requirement
Regulators have acted against sharing driving data without clear consent, and state laws treat precise location as sensitive. Privacy-first platforms win the data that others can’t use.
The public stack has matured
USDOT’s open-source ODE and V2X Hub now decode the current J2735 edition, so integrating a new agency is configuration, not custom decoding.
What sets Traffica apart
Hard to copy, because it’s in the foundations
Privacy and multi-tenancy are expensive to retrofit. Traffica started with them.
- One pipeline, several markets
- The same canonical data serves public agencies, insurers, fleets and drivers, with strict separation between them. Each new source adds value to every segment.
- Privacy as architecture
- Pseudonyms, k-anonymity, a consent ledger and endpoint protection are enforced by the data model and tested against ground truth, not just written in a policy.
- Standards-native
- Built on SAE J2735, COVESA VSS and ISO probe-data standards, so agencies and automakers integrate without custom formats.
- A culture of measured claims
- Every capability shipped with an exit criterion checked against known ground truth. Partners get numbers with their caveats.
- mean segment-speed error
- 0.44 m/s
- 94% of segment windows within ±1 m/s of ground truth
- vehicle messages ingested
- 19,500/s
- sustained on one developer laptop, nearly 4× the design target
- intersection passages detected
- 97%
- timed within 3 seconds of ground truth
- trips reconstructed
- 250 / 250
- start and end within 2 s, distance within 2%
- raw vehicle IDs stored
- 0
- checked by scanning every column of every table
