Website privacy notice

Last updated October 12, 2026. Draft pending legal review.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the Traffica website at traffica.net. It does not cover data processed by the Traffica platform for our customers; that is governed by each customer’s agreement and their own notices to the people whose data they share. If you were invited to share your driving, the organization that invited you can tell you how they use your data.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, organization and message, and use them only to reply and follow up on your enquiry. Form submissions may pass through a form-delivery service that forwards them to us.
  • Invitation codes. The driver invitation page checks the code in your browser and sends it nowhere else. Like any page address, it may appear in the standard server logs below.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to operate and secure the site.
  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, how you arrived, approximate location, and device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies for this, and Google processes the data on our behalf. It is never loaded on driver invitation pages. You can opt out with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.

What we don’t do

This website runs no advertising trackers, sets no cookies other than those used by Google Analytics, and serves its fonts itself rather than from a third party.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what you sent us, or ask us to delete it, by emailinghello@traffica.net.
